Alan Clemens, founder and President of The Clemens Group, has been in the business of providing dental practitioners with a wide array of services relating to practice evaluation and transition for over thirty five years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Accounting and has taken post graduate courses in accounting, finance and real estate.

Mr. Clemens is a charter member of the Practice Valuation Study Group, a prestigious group of professionals dedicated to providing quality and timely appraisals and valuation services. Alan is also a founding member of American Dental Sales, Inc. Formed in 1995, American Dental Sales, Inc. is a national network of qualified, experienced, and trusted independent brokers/consultants, specializing in dental practice sales, Consulting, and Appraisal services.

Mr. Clemens speaks frequently to groups on practice transitions and has been a guest lecturer at Columbia University Dental School. He has authored several articles on practice transitions for Dental Economics and other publications and offers seminars to interested groups.

Mr. Clemens has a residence in New York City and a home in Rhinebeck, New York.
